Man, every time I think my mind is closed on this issue, somebody like your girl reminds me how open I am. On your sidenote, LMAO!!! Holla Playa.

See, the thing is, we can't close our minds to that issue. It's kinda engrained in our being on earth. Regardless of whether it becomes an issue that happens silently, we still have to be aware of the fact that it's there. It's like our boy Trent Lott reminding us that people still think about hanging niggas. LOL..But not so much in those words.

Kajuana

*looking around* Uh, I know she d'int say nuffin bad about Detroit losing. Oh wait, what's that? Ah-yes. For just a momment there, I forgot I don't care about basketball.

I sure hope you got the person to expound on this 'Messing 'round with white folks means someone dies' theory.

LOL..She did expound. I'll try to add all of that as I continue with this post.

Okay...
SO he's moving with poor white trash because he put his pee pee in there and slipped up? Wise decision? I think not.

He bout to be in a whole HEAP of trouble.

I'm gonna do a post on him another day. But hell to da yeah, he's in trouble. And it's not because she's white. Maybe I should just shorten the term so people won't think i hate white folk. He's in trouble because she's PT.

Yolanda

*Stomach churning again* You would post something like this, and I come along on a Friday to read it. Got any Pepcid?

LOL...Nah lady, I don't do Pepcid. I just swallow the truth, grin and bare it....

Xquizzyt1

LOL...I'm sorry, I'm just laughing because your friend calls you "son." That's hilarious to me. But you know MJ's mentality is like that Chris Rock joke about how black women attribute anything bad that happens to a black man dating white women to the fact that he dates white women... and when anything bad would happen they'd say, "Hmmph... fuckin' 'round with them white girls."

I'm not racist but... (lol, I've always said beware of anyone who starts their sentences that way... and here I go. LOL) I don't think I'd ever marry a white guy. If I did, it would have to be a white guy that had dated a million black women before me... I can't be the first... I'm just too old for all that explaining and question answering and shit. *rolling eyes*

LOL...MJ and I have a very special relationship. We both call each other son. And maybe it's growing up in the Brooklyn streets that does that. But yeah...I have a problem with black women saying that they would have to be with a white guy that had been with black women before. I have a problem with anyone that sticks to one thing exclusively. As I said before, there's always a possibility that I'll marry a white guy. One of the reasons why I don't count that out is because if it does happen, I'd like to know I covered all bases. I am not interested in a white guy that is solely interested in black girls because in my mind, he's one of two things: PWT or a dude trying to piss his racist ass family off. LOL. I know that may cause someone to come up in here and say whatever. But that's my opinion. Give me a white boy that dabbles in people (black, white, or otherwise). Then I'm not busy feeling like his experiment.

Kelvin

That is really something..maybe MJ should go see Crash and learn a few things..

Kelvin- MJ saw Crash. It is not my intent to portray her as someone that needs to go learn something. In fact, she is a remarkably intelligent woman. My intent is to prove that Crash is a very accurate depiction of what everyday people think. It was comfortable to see it in a movie because we could laugh at Ludacris' responses and oxymorons because we had a problem dealing with the fact that many of us actually believe him. That movie was comforting and discomforting at the same time. And if it proved anything, it is that we all harbor stereotypes and biases inside of us. Some of us are just bold enough to say it outloud. I've always said that I'd rather deal with an openly racist person, than one who parades around as my friend. Cuz with an openly racist person, you know to always watch your back.

Arri

Piss em off enough and the first thing in their head or out their mouth is nigger. I'll work with em, hang out, go to the bar whatever, but I know in the back of their mind sometimes deep in the back, and sometimes right up front I'm a nigger. Maybe not 9 but AT LEAST 7 out of 10.

Arri- Thanks for coming through. See, I'm at 5/6 out of 10. 7-9 are still kinda high for me. I appreciate you sharing your true feelings. One thing I know is that if we continue to harbor these feelings and not express them out loud, nothing will ever change. I chose to purposely begin the post the way I did, and already people are assuming that I'm talking to some dummy. Fact of the matter is, black intelligent people say this shit too.

Nia

LMAO...I am soooo mad they said someone is gonna die. LOL

And Detroit held their own, they only lost by thiiiiissss much. *holding index and pinky fingers together really close*

Yeah, My girl MJ is an educated fool. She did delve further into that and I was definitely blown away by how silly she is.

danja

LMAO @ you calling him a racist two lines after calling black folks "niggas". You know I'mma keep it real with you at all costs. =)

Yeah, I don't get down with the "N" word, ever, especially not out of the mouths of black folks... so when I hear black folks call each other "niggas" and then turn around and say ANYthing about racism or anything like that, I have to laugh, because it is one of the grandest paradoxes we, as a people, exist in and perpetuate.

And I agree with MJ. See, I have no blinders when it comes to cra-- white people. He is right. 9 out of 10 look at us like the fucking dirt on the bottom of their shoes and for DAMN sure don't want any of us, not even Oprah, in their families. This is why most black men involved with white women do NOT get upper middle class or rich white women as wives, they end up with the bottom of the fucking barrel, because for the most part, no well-to-do white woman in her RIGHT MIND [who doesnt have something to prove or who wasnt raised by hippies], in America, would EVER marry a Black man, unless he is filthy rich or some huge celebrity, and even then, that is a rarity.

I would NEVER willingly let a white man touch me, much less even think about finding one attractive or marrying one. The thought of it disgusts me. I cant speak for what other people should do because honestly, when its all said and done, I could care less.

A lot of this shit is so PC and fake it kills me. It is like black folks are scared to say "i dont fucking like white folks" or like if we say anything against them, then we are wrong. That is that bullshit, for REAL. Why do we always have to be so accepting and accomodating. "Im not a racist..." or "Well i dont have a problem with..." Man I wish more black folks DID have a problem with more things.

ok im done lol

love u Cee

They have always despised us. They continue to despise us because we remind them how savage THEY were for enslaving us. WE are constant reminders of the "blemish" known as slavery. Dont ever fall victim to the "illusion of inclusion" cuz cra-- white people do NOT accept us and do NOT want us around.

LOL @ err' one thinking MJ is a he. MJ is actually my homegirl who happens to be a racist. LOL...That said, I use nigga like people use bitches. I know that you and I could probably sit down for hours going back and forth on issues, but we're likely both strong willed and since we're sooooooooo intelligent, we'd probably just have to agree to disagree (which is what essentially happened during this conversation between MJ and I). I know a slew of black folks who wont ever want a white person to touch them. I respect that. If you hate whites, keep it real. Cuz as we all know, those whites who hate us, keep that shit realer than real. LOL. I would date a white guy, but not the white guy that people would expect me to be with. I guess I'm trying not to say too much in the comments sections because I intend on probably hitting all of the things that you all stated as I continue. But, thanks lady. As always, you know there's nothing but love fo' ya' coming from this end. Maybe one day, we'll have this argument in person. LOL..

openminded

I disagree with danja to a point. ALL white people do NOT think that way, especially not all Europeans (at least the men). A lot do, but not all. I would and have dated white guys. I did it because I like to date the person not the race. Fact in point, all of them have treated me better than many black men who have tried to step to me. If a man has a great mind, a nice body, and is diggin me why NOT give him a chance? Having said that, my (ex-) husband and the father of my children was a black man. There are good and bad people of all races. Ev'ry body ain't fa ev'ry one.

Openminded- I'm gonna have to agree with you. I think that one of the problems that I deal with is people's willingness to automatically write off a race of people because of injustices that occurred in the past. I'm not saying that racism does not exist today, but I also do not believe that all white folk are devils. In fact, I think that a lot of Black folk are as close to the devil as I ever care to meet. You can laugh at that, or not. I hope you come back for the conclusion.

Emem

Girl please, you believe that shit. You know that if you have an argument with a white person for too long and you dont let up then you will become a nigga in no time. They might not say it, but they sure are thinking it. The only reason they dont say it is cause they scared to get hit.

SlowMetamorphosis

Me personally...lol...I cant see marrying a white guy. But I have a post about that...its is draft form..that along with some other stuff...

Blaiqangel

Black men and white women in a relationship I feel will always be a taboo. First off because there are more woman in the world then men. And black women, i feel we comment on EVERY THING. I don't feel as if ALL White people think that way...i think more than we realize, but not all. Most of us feel that when a sister dates a white man, its because she is "fed up"...but its a double standard for a brother to do the same. I don't think that is always fair. And of course the history with our races you know? Some people see it as crossing the color lines and improving cultural relationships, whereas MANY others see it as "selling out" or just not right because in a lot of ways they believe that that woman can not relate to that man's struggle. My younger brother is involved with a young white female. And my mother loathes that. Because as she would say, "Yous meh one bwoy piknay". I don't see a problem with interracial relationships SO LONG AS THAT MAN, and THAT WOMAN, don't forget where they came from, continue to stand for what they believe strongly in, and can respect each other's back ground and culture. No one can relate or understand if they have nothing to offer. Its like coming to a table to feast with no plate. Because you can't say I love you to anyone(same race or not) or offer yourself if you don't know the "I"dentity. Anyway, i ramble...this aint my blog. I'm probably off, but yeah... *laughs* Again...good stuff here. I love reading your entries.

perceptionist

Hey, thanks for standing up against racism. I'm white/hispanic, but look very white. I can tell you that, unfortunately, there are a lot of racist white people, but definitely NOT 9 out of 10! Through my experience, I think the problem with white folks is that many just refuse to see things from someone else's point of view. It's really sad when I see that sort of shit, but it's nice to know that there are brothas & sistas speaking up too. Kudos! :)
